This side event will catalyze action on forest and landscape restoration (FLR) by advancing policy reform and finance readiness across Africa. Building on the May 2025 Regional Policy Accelerator, countries will revisit their priority FLR challenges, share early progress, and commit to next steps. Dynamic policy sprints will spotlight reforms—such as Payment for Ecosystem Services frameworks—that can unlock restoration finance and accelerate climate action.
