Food Systems Pavilion

This session will spotlight how stronger data systems can accelerate the transformation of food systems in Africa.

Experts and partners from Rwanda’s Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI), Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB), and Rwanda Standards Authority (RSA), alongside Kenya’s Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), county leaders from Nakuru and Trans Nzoia, and national government officials from the Directorate of Crop Insurance and the Agricultural Statistics Unit, will explore three critical themes: addressing persistent data gaps, unlocking the benefits of reliable data for decision-making, and tackling barriers to scaling agroecology and regenerative agriculture. Join us for a practical, solutions-driven conversation on how data can power sustainable production and resilient food systems.
