Anderson is based out of Nairobi, Kenya working as a Finance Associate, Energy Access in the Energy Program of WRI Africa. He works in the development of innovative business and finance models for the successful deployment of renewable energy interventions.

Prior to joining WRI, he was engaged in different capacities as an Analyst with various organizations; among them Okavango Capital Partners, Interswitch East Africa, Zamara Group (formerly part of Alexander Forbes Group), Kenya Climate Innovation Centre and African Alliance Investment Bank. He has worked in extensive company-wide roles involving fund valuations, business analysis, product pricing, financial modeling & risk management. Anderson is also keen on sustainable finance and has conducted research in modeling impacts of climate change and the associated implications on financial risk.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science from Strathmore University (Kenya), a Certificate of Business Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and a Certification from the Society of Actuaries (USA) in Business Economics, Probability & Statistics, and Financial Mathematics. Anderson is currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialism in Strategy from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University (UK)

During his leisure time, Anderson likes watching documentaries when indoors and enjoys traveling to new places as an outdoor activity.
